Vasek Stanek found out that there are few shoes that look good and last a long time during high school. He took advantage of the fact that he came from Zlín with a strong shoemaking tradition and decided to start producing his own models. So he traded running on the athletic oval for building a brand that would offer exactly what he was looking for. Quality shoes where you know who made them and what they're made of, and you can rely on them for every step of your journey.
The fits are based on traditional work boots, bowling shoes or pioneer boots for example. They have stripped them of all superfluous details, adapted everything to their own taste and the result is Vasky. Simple and crisp lines, minimalist looks and unadorned colour combinations. What they have kept is the quality of the workmanship and the quality stitching around the perimeter of the shoes, which is central to their durability and endurance.
