In 2000, Protetika CZ Plus, spol. s r.o. was established as a subsidiary of Protetika a.s., Bratislava. Its aim was to sell a wide range of medical footwear in the Czech Republic. The product range included classic cork sandals and walking health shoes. In 2003, the company expanded its offer to include home, children's and work shoes. In 2013, Protetika CZ Plus, spol. s r.o. also entered the Czech market with a range of medical devices, which includes orthoprosthetic aids, an anti-disability programme and orthopaedic insoles. In 2016, it also added to this line a range of individual orthopaedic footwear for children.
